Sirma Group Holdings is the biggest group of IT companies in Bulgaria. Founded in 1992, the group now consists of over 20 affiliated companies and joint ventures that specialize in different areas of IT sectors. They specialise in many different sectors such as Enterprise Business Solutions, Financial & Banking Services, e-Government, Security Applications, Mobile Applications. Providing human and financial capital, the company lay the foundations for successful future market leaders. The company is part of the annual ranking for IT companies.
== History ==

Sirma Group Holdings are situated in Sofia, Bulgaria. Founded in 1992 by a group of university students, friends and classmates. In 1995 there was building a strategy for the formation of separate specialized units of Sirma. In 1996 WorkLogic Corp. (then Workshop) is based with a head office in Ottawa, Canada. The unit specializes in systems management workflow. “Sirma” has made development of large-scale projects in the field of e-business and e-commerce for companies in the USA. In 1999 the company won The European Award for Information Technology. In 2000 WorkLogic Corp. successfully implemented systems for managing workflow in the Library of Parliament and the Agency for conducting federal elections in Canada. In 2001 “Sirma Group Holding” is given as an example of successful development in a number of Bulgarian and International Studies. The number of employees exceeds 60 people. In 2002 Sirma Solutions won a major project of the Ministry of Defense for developing a system for automated control of artillery division. The same year it won another major project of Bulbank for providing IT consulting and developing highly specialized banking software. The following year Sirma Group implemented a system of quality management ISO 9001: 2000. In 2004 the Group became a shareholder and main technological partner in System for Electronic Payments - SEP Bulgaria. The same year it won a first place in the category "Growth and Efficiency" (rating of IDG). In 2005 “Sirma Group Holding” started its science-educational portal- http://www.znam.bg. In 2008 “Sirma”began the process of restructuring the Company in order to build a holding structure. In the following year, the restructuring of the group into a holding structure was successfully completed and the number of staff exceeded 400 people. “Sirma” won first place in the category "Best Mobile Internet Security Award” in the prestigious international competition for mobile innovation SIMagine Awards 2011.〔http://www.sirma.com/, Sirma Group, Retrieved 18 November 2015〕 The following year Sirma Solutions develops Loyaks - an innovative platform for business loyalty. Presently, the group are developing technology in new directions like automated photo and video tagging and much more within their mobile services as well as being interested in robotics which they are hoping to explore in the future. They are supporting a number of different initiatives and projects in the IT field which have the potential to be successful.
